STARTING THE YEAR 2026
Building the Year Ahead,
Together

Behind the scenes, our board is actively preparing the next year. Planning meetings, seeking - if possible - founding from the organisation, and securing speakers. All to deliver stronger events and help our chapter grow in Switzerland.

Working Behind the Scenes to Build a Stronger Year Ahead
While our events and activities are what most members see, a great deal of work happens quietly behind the scenes to ensure our chapter continues to grow and thrive.
Over the past weeks, the board has been actively preparing for the year ahead. This includes organizing regular board meetings to plan our roadmap, align on priorities, and identify opportunities to improve the experience we offer to our members.
We also have to report to our global organisation, informing them what we intend to do. ISC2, like others, are watching what their chapters are proposing to their members. In this domain, one important focus has been claiming additional support to help us deliver high-quality events. Organizing professional cybersecurity events in Switzerland comes with unique challenges, particularly due to higher venue, logistics, and operational costs. With this in mind, the board has been in discussions with the ISC2 global organization to explore potential funding and support options that would allow us to organize better, more accessible, and more impactful events for our community. Let's see if it will be heard.
At the same time, we are actively reaching out to potential speakers to bring diverse expertise, fresh perspectives, and relevant topics to our future sessions. Identifying, contacting, and coordinating speakers takes time and persistence, but it is a key part of ensuring our events remain valuable and engaging.
All of this work is done with one clear goal in mind: to support the growth of our chapter and strengthen our cybersecurity community in Switzerland. We are committed to building a vibrant, inclusive, and professional network that benefits both current and future members.
Thank you for your continued support and engagement. We look forward to sharing the results of this ongoing work with you in the coming months.
